Why did I wait so long to try one on!!! I picked one up last night, and this fits my hand better than any pistol I have ever held. It came with some Gray Guns trigger parts, and I installed the SRT kit. Man, what a nice trigger! I’ll see how it shoots with the og plastic trigger, before I install the GG flat trigger. It also came with a nice appendix carry holster! Not a bad package for $550:)

I have an HK P30 DA/SA and, for a 9mm, I like it. As you say, it is easily adaptable to almost any hand. While a bit thicker, it is close, in other dimensions, to a Glock 19, the crowd favourite. I really like the paddle release better than the button style.

I do sometimes think of sending it out to be milled for a red dot sight. In all, it is one that I would not hesitate to recommend.

My hands prefer the P2000, but those P30s are very nice.

I routinely regret not picking up a .40 one when they were pretty much giving them away at the local shop a few years back

That's how I got a .40 USP. $400 shipped for a lightly used (like carried by a dispatcher or social worker) ex-cop gun in great shape.

As much as the USP is a big, bulky pistol it fits my hands. And the LEM trigger is my hands down favorite for any use other than target shooting.

They had a bunch LEM and DA/SA sitting out with an extra mag, range bag and a couple boxes of ammo for $450 (I think) for months. And I almost bought one at least a half dozen times.

I have two LEM H&Ks and carry them both as my EDC. IMO the LEM with short reset trigger is the best. For me 4 H&K pistols is not enough, although to be fair every one has gone to Bill Springfield for a trigger job soon after I bought it.

I have P-30SK LEM. It's controversial to say the least. It's a street trigger (safe) with a hammer. Hammer for a thumb check when you holster so you know what the trigger is doing. It won't fire if the hammer can't move into position. No safety like a Glock, which is a good thing IMO.

Not sure why more LE agencies haven't jumped on board, probably cost. I'm a DA/SA Sig guy so I have a hard time getting used to the trigger. If a person has no pre conceived notions about triggers (like a rookie cop) that one would be a good system to start with.

I have both a P30SK V3 trigger and a P30SK LEM trigger. I prefer the DA/SA trigger but am warming to the LEM trigger.

Currently, the P30SK is my main carry pistol.

I’ve been doing the same with my HK45c and P2000. I still prefer the DA/SA (and that SA is sooooooo sweet on the 45c) but I’ve spent a lot of time with the LEM and like it well enough to carry from time to time.

And I’m a Glock and 1911 guy mostly

I have a P30 v3 and a P30SK v3. I must say the P30 is the most comfortable in the hand. The interchangeable backstrap inserts and side panels insure the perfect fit for any hand. A quality build and highly dependable pistol summarizes it.

Amusingly enough, despite playing with a number of panel combinations, I just don't quite like the feel of the P30 in the hand, I haven't found the combination that works best for me I guess.

P2000 just feels better to me

My P30 has an LEM by Bill Springfield and is remarkably great!
After reading many reviews of Bill Springfield, you are apparently one of the lucky ones! He did an AR trigger for me 15 years ago that turned out pretty nice, but something must have changed since then.

I've heard some complaints that he takes too long or isn't responsive, but he's always been good at answering my emails quickly. Subjectively his work on my P30 LEM is as good as the Gray Guns work on my P30S, and a lot cheaper. Although I purchased the gun used so the work had already been done. It's subjectively an amazing trigger, the best LEM by far I have seen. Although if I ever get around to having the Match/LEM hybrid on my USPf9, it's reputedly as good as LEM can get.

I can only speak for myself but I have had zero issues with everything that he has done for me. I find him to respond well and prices are fair. I am getting ready to send him another project and if things have changed I will inform all.
