I will give you range report tommorow.
I been shooting ave. 6" groups with iron sight at 100 yards with Wally world .223. Surely I can improve on that.
I am curious to see how well I would do with this scope on. The mount is quality swiss manufacturer (B&T) and ACOG adopter from ARMS (comes with TA01NSN), everything fits nice and tight so far.

You can only drop in factory paddle release on push pin receivered HKs (HK33, HK41, MP5 etc).
My civilian only HK93 is hinged receiver version, and it cannot readily accept factory paddle release (to prevent sear installation). It onlys 'looks' push pin receiver because the trigger group has fake pushpin attatched on it, but it's not functional pins.
That trigger group is called 'pinned and clipped' FBI F/S trigger gorup. It is legally modified trigger group that looks like class III group that attatches on to a hinged receiver (HK91, 93, 94, etc).
Thing is that plastic FBI trigger group is more ergonomic and sits more to the front (about 1/2), and I can reach the mag push release more easily. This was not a case with factory grip. The ambi safety is easier to reach also.
You 'can' install factory paddle release by doing slight receiver cutting (in ATF legal manner) or you can simply install after market part called 'tactlatch'. I will do neither for obvious reasons.

There is no law prohibiting paddle release. It's just that HK decided to do away with one when releasing civilian version HK9X rifles.
I 'can' have paddle release installed if I want to, but this will require slight machining of the receiver, and is likely to decrease the value of the rifle. Aftermarket Tac-latch is installed sideways and looks sutpid in my opinion.
Mag push button is pretty further to reach than AR15, but with FBI plastic lower, it is somewhat closer, and much easier to reach than with original HK93 lower.

Well, I took it to the range today.
Using Wally world .223, I was making ave. 3" groups at 100 yards. I been able to do 6" group with irons, so I am not to impressed. Perhaps I can do better job with better rest or a bipod. Still it was accurate enough to make soda can dance at 100 yards.
Interestingly, B&T scope mount works as a brass deflector, and shells are now exactracting 2 o'clock and 15 feets to the front consistantly. No longer are the guys on my right being showered with hot projectiles. This doesn't seem to cause anyproblem, and there is slight brass streak on the front of the mount right behind the ejection port, which simply wipes away.
Unfortunately mount is about 1/4" too high to clear ACOG channel that allows use of iron sights.
I also haven't tried BUIS on TA01NSN, but I heard that it is difficult to use.
TA01NSN with its very clear sight picture, allows me to take precise shots. Though not as fast as TA31, I am not sure I would like rather large donut of death thingie. For BAC's CQB usefulness, I would probably replace TA01NSN with Reflex or EoTech.

Shooting it will also decrease the value of the rifle and the scope mount may leave marks on the rifle to.
