holster for xds 45

Cannot find one for this gun. I like Fobus but, they have no clue when they will have on. Any ideas?

Trust me, once you get away from Fobus you'll never look back ... the apddle holster that came with my XD-s is better than anything I've seen from Fobus

I've been using a Harwell. Excellent quality and terrific service.

After I ordered and received the holster and a mag carrier, they sent email saying, "we don't really like the design on that mag holder and have come up with an improvement. Send us the original and we'll ship out a new design at no charge." They were right, the first design wasn't quite right, the modified one is superb.

I saw a holster at Wholesale Sports that was made for one of the other XD pistols, and when I tried my XDs in it it fit perfectly. I can't remember the brand but it was a famous name- I'll go by tomorrow or Wednesday and take a look. It was a leather/kydex rig.

I use a Galco IWB holster made for Kahr's, LC9's, Nano's....etc. It's a little tight at first but it loosens up quick and absolutely fits like a glove.

I have a nylon Blackhawk #8 IWB holster that I bought and used with my Kel-Tec PF9. It is comfortable and holds the gun tight to the body. When I bought my XDs, I tried the holster with that gun and it fits fine. Being behind the belt and pants it has excellent retention and I haven't noticed any shifting with movement.

And the best part, it was only $11.00 at a LGS.

I just picked up an XDs a week ago........ but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

But, I just ordered an IWB holster from Hiden Hybrid Holsters. It cost me 65$ after shipping, and their products get good reviews.

The three major reasons I went with it over a Crossbreed is that it comes with belt cuts, so you could use it outside the waistband and just as a belt holster (so you get a holster that has multiple functions), it seems to have less leather on it than a Crossbreed, which I desired, and the Kydex is made to cover the mag release, which I like. They even make ones to fit with certain lasers if you are looking for that. Hickock45 on youtube gave them a good mention and his logic usually makes sense to me.

Check them out. I should mention...... I just ordered it and have not recieved it yet. So I can't give any feedback as to the quality compared to other hybrid holsters, but they seem to get really good reviews.
