Just bought a Kahr PM-9 yesterday equipped with the factory night sights.
The nice thing about Kahr is that their website shows you pictures and models of various makers holsters that fit the particular model of Kahr that you own.
So with that extra help I was hoping that those of you out there that own and conceal carry a PM-9 would tell me what holsters worked for you and did not for this pistol and also why or why not you did not like it or did like it.
I am interested in Pocket,OWB,and IWB.
I dont mind spending money on a holster(s) I just dont want a junk collection of poorly made inferior products.
Although I am aware that holster fit is a personal thing and a lot has to do with your body build.
I am 5'7" and weigh about 175 pounds if that matters.
One last thing,I am not so sure about the comfort of an IWB holster even though I want to keep it in consideration but it would seem to me something with the thickness of a gun plus the holster would dictate a holster as thin as possible to reduce the effect..Yes or no??
Thanks for any words here.

I have had several holsters for the PM9.

El Paso C-Force IWB: Didn't like it at all. Only one offset loop and the gun shifts alot.

Comp-Tac C-Tac IWB: Good Holster, good company

Comp-Tac Infidel: Good Holster, good company
*I took the two above holsters and fashioned something close to their old Gurkha holster - that is, it has a loop and a strut. I liked that configuration best.

Tucker Cover Up IWB - Tied for my favorite with
Custom Carry Concepts - Shaggy IWB: Great AIWB holster

I'm a little guy (shorter than you and weigh about 30# less). These days, I carry almost exclusively at appendix. IWB doesn't bother me I often carry a G26 and it's a lot thicker than the PM9.

Don't forget to get a good wide and stiff belt. Wilderness instructors belt if you don't mind nylon and velcro.

Also, I've found the Pearce +0 mag extensions are really helpful. I've got really small hands and the grip is fine, but the draw from a holster is much more secure with the extension. Probably not advisable if you're going pocket carry though.

Holster for Kahr PM9

So glad to find this thread, Heeler. I have owned a PM9 for a year or so and have not been able to get fully comfortable with the weight and width of the PM9 in my pocket. The salesman at the lgs put me on to the Don Hume IWB, and it is a beautiful holster but still does not conceal deep enough, since my job requires me to wear tucked shirts most of the time.

So... My everyday CCW has been the Kahr P380 in an Uncle Mike's No.1 in my slacks pocket.

In my continuing search for a holster for my PM9, I have lately been looking at the Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe. Some of the video reviews directly address tucked shirts and comfort, even while sitting. I tried to call Crossbreed yesterday but could not get through. (I figure that the winter storm got the best of them, just like the rest of us). I just wanted to be sure that they had one made for the PM9. It's a little pricey, but like you, I don't mind paying for a fine holster that will work for me every day.

If you check this out, I'd appreciate your take. Any other ideas would be great too.

Just checked out autospike's suggestion of the Comp-Tac holster. It looks very good, and a lot like the Crossbreed. I also did find a YouTube review of both bolsters side-by-side, but the reviewer did not have much experience yet with the Comp-tac. My takeaway from the review was that both holsters are designed for the same uses; the Comp-Tac is slightly thicker; the Comp-Tac is more versatile, because the kydex pieces are interchangeable; the Crossbreed clips are metal and therefore possibly more durable; both holsters seem to be extremely well-constructed.

I carry my PM40 in a Fist #1 IWB thin Kydex. It is my favorite for due to the clip design, positive retention, and thin profile.

I have a couple of Comp-Tac's and I like them fine, problem is that I'm too thick and I have to dress for them--need to wear a larger pant size.
