Homemade Kydex Holsters?

Is there a 1 stop shopping site for kydex and hardware? Never having done this before, what is the best size/thickness for a 19ll type pistol? Retention: how is it accomplished.

Process seems straight forward, normal hand eye coordination seems sufficient.

Stay awat from Tandy Leather. Kydex is double the price compared to Amazon and non of their hardware fits Kydex. I found this out the hard way after buying $10 worth of hardware that was too small. I went back and that's all they carry.

That doesn't look bad. I set my toaster oven at 200 degrees and once its floppy I remove it and mold it.

Well I guess I should update...

I haven't had time or money to make a holster but I did make a few knife sheaths that came out really nice. I purchased kydex and hardware from Tandy leather which turned out to be junk. I then got some stuff from Amazon which worked really well. I will post some pictures hopefully tonight.

Some great techniques shown in here! I may try to fix my new Alien Gear kydex. Not sure what went wrong with their process, but it doesn't look as nice as most homemade holsters.
