I could see using a pocket pistol out to 7 yards, other than that, I agree with you; especially about the primary concern being reliability.

I've never found an easier way to carry a concealed firearm than in a back pocket (wallet style) holster..
Just slip it in the back pocket every time you leave the house and forget about it.
I've never been a fan of ankle holsters, but that's just me.

Out of all the pistols I have shot and owned My Sig P232 .380 is the hardest on my hand. After 50 rounds my hand is tired not sore but just tired. I can just imagine the LCP being an attention grabber. But like everyone says, for CC you aint gona shot it that much.
