I've got a Hornady Primer Crimp Reamer chucked in my drill. Processing LC NATO 223 brass. I've tried to find pictures of a properly reamed piece of brass, but I seem to be seeing inconsistent information on what constitutes a properly reamed case.

Does anyone have a good picture of a properly reamed case?

Just ream enough to remove all the crimp and try seating a primer.

If it won't go, ream a little more.

But you don't want to ream a funnel in it.

Anyway, a properly made reamer will bottom out in the primer pocket before you cut it too deep.

Yep, what RCD said. I use one. Not the fastest but does the job and inexpensive.

Sure glad you only have them remove them once.
I mark the botom of my brass with a sharpie so when I pick up brass at the range I can tell it's mine and I have removed the crimp. (Mini 14 throws them about 20', AR is nowhere near as bad)
