Has anyone had any problem with misfires with horamdy #80255 55 gr spite point 223 rem? Does anyone have e mail contact information?

I bought a 50 r box of these and out of 16 rounds I had 5 misfires. I've used hornandy products for the last several years and have never had an issue. Maybe I've been lucky but it could be a bad batch of primers or something silly like that.

I only found a phone number. I work in an auto shop and don't get any time to make calls let alone be able to hear my phone if it were to ring with a call back.
 
Call them & give them the lot number. I have heard about more misfires with their ammo than all others combined. Are you sure your gun is not at fault?
 
It fired all of my handmade and the cheap perfecta that I bought for more reloadable brass. Just never had a misfire with their ammo till Sunday. Also 11 fired from same box so I don't think so, but I could be wrong it wouldn't be the first or last time.
 
I measured the base to shoulder datum between fired rounds,isfited rounds and inchambered rounds. The fired rounds measured 1.45 in. The misfires measured 1.30 inchec. It's defiantly an ammo problem. The cartridge cases are .080 to short creating excessive head space.
