Ordered some parts from Brownell's and Olympic Arms on the same day, Dec. 15th.

Two days later, I was opening my package of goodies from Brownell's. As of today, still no package from Olympic Arms and they had no idea on when it would ship, but the check has been cashed...

For the last week, no one will answer the phone. A friend says he waited 6 months for parts from Olympic! :cuss:

I have had no dealings with Olympic Arms, so I can't tell you if I think they have good customer service or not.

However, I live near them and do drive right by their office every day on my commute to work.

I see that you're in Mississippi? So I assume that you were not aware that WA state has just seen it's worst winter storm in 2 decades. Tens of thousands of homes and businesses were without power for many days. I myself was without power for 4 days. My wife’s parents who also live in the area were without power for 6, then as soon as it was restored (within hours), we had a windstorm and they lost it again.

Anyway, if you haven't been able to contact them, my guess is it's because they're not able to respond, not because they're being jerks or something.

SEATTLE, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Washington State Gov. Chris Gregoire declared a state of emergency Thursday as a rare ice storm pounded the Puget Sound area.

An estimated 120,000 customers were without power as ice-laden branches and trees crashed through power lines, the Seattle Times reported.

One man was killed in the Issaquah area when a tree landed on him and runways were closed early in the day at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

They cashed his check so I guess the bank still has power....

This +11

I have to wonder at this point if they have caller ID and are not answering my call?

If you can cash my check, why can't you ship parts you claim to have in stock?

@David: I ordered my parts on Dec.15th, your article describes a storm on Jan. 19th - just sayin'...

Yup, it was the weather. The Puget Sound area does not deal with snow well... It is possible that the check was cashed the day before the storm, it may only take a 6 to 12 hours for a paper check to make it to an inland big bank sorting center. Keep your cool, in my many dealing with Olympic they have been top notch. Being in Washington I have received next day service on in stock parts. A week or so for rifles that need building.
