i really like the PRI carbon fiber float tube and am orbiting the checkout button on that piece of kit

its 320 bucks

alternatives are 100 bucks cheaper but i dont want to mount 6 geegaws

just an aimpoint and a provision for a sling and a bipod

Zak's got a few ARs with similar features

I HIGHLY recommend Adco for an SPR build. MUCH more reasonable than MSTN and will shoot just as well.

An SPR eh? I want something long range and a little different... I think this is just the ticket. Adco seems like the best place... What kind of barrel is that or is that the float tube Harry Tuttle is speaking of? Sorry, I'm still pretty new to AR's and I want to piece one together but I'm not sure the name of all the parts.

It's pretty much a mix of all different stuff so you are better starting from scratch. Email Eric or Steve at Adco and they can give you some options......great guys to talk to. Here are the specs on mine (also known as the Mk12 Mod0 SPR. The Mod1 is very similar....main difference being a KAC float tube in place of the PRI and removal of the ARMS Swan Sleeve).

I do highly recommend the White Oak/Compass Lake SPR barrel that Adco sells. My groups have been under a half inch at 100 yards with 77gr BH blue box. Can't be beat for the price.
