How do you be a good spotter?

    I think that this is a skill that you eventually pick up with time but it is something that is not taught or given enough attention to in the general shooting arts. Where can one obtain resources on the subject? Anyone know of a good website?

    I don't know of a website for becoming a spotter but a lot of good information on reading the wind is available within the long range target shooting community. Their website is www.long-range.com you might want to try over there for wind as they shoot at known distances other than that it is a lot of math for whatever your round specs are regarding veloctiy bullet coefficient bullet weight and range. And a lot of time memorizing it all for when you are in the field.
