When I process my sandy 9mm brass, I wet tumble with soap and citric acid without pins first. After rinsing see how the brass looks. If it needs another 1-3 hours, do it. Then one more time with pins. The pins will clean the inside of the case as well, which makes it easier to see the powder charge (or lack thereof). My FART will clean 1K 9mm cases at a time, so you’ll get an idea of how long it will take you. The timer can be set up to 3 hours, so see what times work best.
I use my progressive press as, well, a progressive press. Every pull-push of the lever does a deprime, prime, powder drop, powder check, bullet seat, bullet crimp. I don’t do any single stage work with 9mm, or any other high volume pistol cartridge loading. Good luck!
