How do you office going CCWers keep your gun concealed?

I currently carry a Glock 26 in a Smartcarry daily. I also carry a P32 in a cheap Uncle Mikes holster in my left front pocket. Before I discovered Smartcarry it was just the P32 but it was carried for years in my strongside front pocket.

Pocket holster and ankle holster

I've used a pocket holster and also ankle holster to carry a J frame hammerless airweight in work and conference settings. It all depends if I am wearing dockers, a coat, or thin dress slacks. The ankle holster works great with dress slacks because they aren't thick enough to hide a handgun in the pocket...if i leave a building late i can go in the bathroom and slip the handgun in a pocket for walking across a parking lot. I've used the Galco Ankle Glove and a cheap uncle Mike's. Can't beat that with the S&W 642.

I carried a Browning Hi Power for a year or so (and still do on occasion) in a Galco Skyops before I started carrying a Glock 29 mostly in a SmartCarry.

Thanks for posting this, reminded me to order one of these.

Looks to me to be more comfortable than smart carry.

I love my employers policy "no unauthorized weapons." Ccw means I am authorized as far as I can tell. Hearing the owner make fun of the liberals also helps me to think it wouldn't be an issue.

Paddle holster.
Take it off and dump it in my desk drawer during the work day.

I had a private office so that made it easy.
My secretary knew I carried as did the CEO.

Sig P238 in front pocket of dress slacks. In the same pocket, I carry my small, leather business card holder on the "outside" of the gun, so the only thing that prints is the little rectangular card holder.

Several guys in the office know I carry (including management), recently two of them asked whether I was carrying that day. I told them to look at me, and guess whether I was indeed carrying. One said "Yes", the other said "No". To the guy who said "Yes", I challenged him and said, "OK, where's the gun?" He was sitting 3 steps away, while I stood in the door frame of his office. He guessed my left pocket, which had keys and a small pocket knife. I pulled them out and told him sorry, you're wrong. He said, "Ok, where's the gun? I know you have it." I pulled the gun out of my right pocket. It had been "covered" with the business card holder. They were both stunned, couldn't believe I had a gun in that pocket...even though they were looking for it!

As long as it's legal i don't worry but the antis would certainly make a stink about it if they knew.

want to hear a funny story? as i've said, my office is very pro-2A. however, there are a few liberals there who aren't. fortunately, they're just administrative assistants, so their say in the matter is zero. anyway, a while back, we had an incident at one of our offices involving a street person coming in and threatening people. at that particular office, nobody carries, unlike the one i work at, where pretty much everyone minus a few liberals does.

well, i overheard one of said liberals at my office discussing the indident, and i heard "well, i wouldn't be worried about that here, because i know everyone is packing."

ok... so... you feel safer because everyone here is armed... yet you're anti-gun and want them all taken away? huh?

Carry at work, what? I wouldn't know, we don't allow concealed carry where I work. The hospital is in a bad neighborhood, but we have such effective and intimidating security guards that I don't hooligans.

My solution to the general problem of concealment in clothes through which guns easily print, was to get the smallest gun I could find in a IWB holster, in this case a MK9 in a Mitch Rosen; in the past it was a PM9. Another good choice for me was Ruger LCP, which I would have kept if .380 cost less than 9x19 (lesser calibers should cost less!)

But I wouldn't carry at work, nope.
