I leave my g21 gen 3 chambered in my Uncle Mike's iwb holster and that's either in my waist on my dresser or under the car seat. Chambering the same round day after day is terrible for the the ammunition. Fiv3r is absolutely right.

I am getting to fat for a iwb holster lol.

Dont own a Glock but all of my defensive guns stay loaded, most are stored in the safe one long arm stays next to the bed and one handgun always on my hip.

You can leave it in the holster if that is convenient for you. But I see no need to unload and reload it every day. Keep it loaded and you never have to worry about remembering if you loaded it or not.

I store my Glock loaded without a round in the chamber in a nylon holster inside my house. If I want to carry it, I switch holsters or whatever I choose based on the circumstance of the day.

I only take mine out to go to the range, but I made a little four-position rack for mine, kind of like this:

    http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinRacks05.htm

Mine is finished in "Gunstock" stain and polyurethane, with green felt covering the finish wherever the guns actually touch it.

Whether or not you should leave it loaded at the end of the day is a subject for another thread, but suffice to say mine are kept unloaded and uncocked in the rack. You should probably keep it loaded whenever it's on duty as a defensive weapon.

My HD Glocks are stored chamber empty, full mag, either on a night stand or in the safe.

My carry Glocks are stored chambered, full mag, in the holster, in the safe.

I keep my Glock 22 with a loaded mag, empty chamber close to my bed. The reason for the empty chamber? If I have to rack the slide I feel there is less of a chance for an accidental shooting.

I daily carry a G30SF in a Comp-Tac holster. When I take it off it goes in my safe (in the holster) or another place I safely store it. It stays with a round in the chamber and a full mag.
