How "glossy" is the CZ blue? In pictures it looks similiar to a Colt or older S&W blue.

    Yeah

It's a very glossy blue. Similar to older S&W and Colts.

    Its REALLY glossy

I HAD a glossy compact - very nice gun. It is blacker than the old SWs and Colts. The old SWs had a blue so blue it was "bright". The CZ is very glossy, but a deep deep black - different than the old SWs, but a nice finish. It will not wear well in the holster, and please - no kydex. But if you ever wanted to refinish - it has all the imperfections removed.

Wow. Thanx for the pictures. Beautiful. I'm thinking about a blued CZ. I have several polycoat models and one in nickel (97B RSR).
