How long are BGC good for (VA)

If I pass a background check, how long do I have to pick up my firearm before I have to submit a new background check aka I did the background check on the 1st of the month, but came back to complete the process on the 5th of the next month...?

30 Days, according to the fed. Yes, Virginia goes through the State Police instead of directly through NICS, but the ruling is the same.

Yes it is definitely 30 days for the FBI NICS check. I don't know what Va. does. If Va follows federal law then you would have to redo your BGC if it was over 30 days.

Every time I successfully appealed a denial, the letters always stated that the BGC would have to be done again if 30 days has lapsed since the initial BGC.
