I don't think so. But the ATF goal was 90 day eforms processing time. I don't think very many would submit a paper one with a significantly longer processing time.
No, and I doubt they ever will. I have three customers who specifically requested paper F4's because they love getting an actual stamp instead of an emailed .pdf with a picture of a stamp.
The more people that submit eForm 4's means the data entry clerks will have fewer paper NFA forms in the work flow. I would expect to see paper F4 processing times decrease as more applicants use eForms.
Without eForm 4's the average processing time for the last several years has ranged from 7-10 months. Longer processing times are due to surges in volume of applications. When SilencerCo, Dead Air, Griffin, etc do promotions like "Buy one, get one free", "We pay your tax stamp", gift cards, rebates, free whatever........sales go up. Followed shortly by increased processing times.
