As stated, Indiana is a no. It is a little bitty slip of pink paper that you have to laminate yourself at Kinkos. But it works! I do wonder though if we'd have better reciprocity if we had a photo.

As a Iowa Resident living in Iowa they really do have pictures. It was changes 2 years ago state wide. One still gets the typed paper one also.
I have had a CCW for over 37 years.

The other person who said he got a paper one from Iowa does not live in Iowa?

Iowa is a shall issue state in which it is up to each County Sheriff whom if they want to issue a CCW. In the Iowa counties like Scott and Dubuque they only issue to people carrying cash or to protect a business. Counties like Jackson or Clinton will issue them for self-protection to most everyone who passes a background check and a firearm course.

Iowa switched to Photo laminated CCW 2 years ago across the entire State of Iowa.

So YES they have a photo on them and they are only good for one year.
    Sorry.

Minnesota doesn't have a photo. Very slick-looking card, however.

Little off thread, but my FAA issued pilots license does not have a photo. I am required to carry some other[photo] ID when using it. Why not just put a photo on it?
