The actual poll break down is fascinating, to me, though. Not what I expected, but no reason as to why I was expecting, what I was (numbers somewhat following age)
I got out of HS. I had A shotgun.
I got out of college. I had A shotgun, A deer rifle and A .22 rifle.
Wasn't long and I bought a revolver.
Then, the hoarding began.
Inherited some, that I take afield, at least once a year.
It truly is an addiction. That I have not intention of curing, just continue feeding.
I am reaching an age that I am slowing down. Acquisitions are becoming more of 'i should get that for (whichever grandchild)', instead of, 'i want/need that.'
I have heard of guys that wouldn't purchase through a dealer because they fear eventual government confiscation. I would imagine they don't answer internet polls.
They are watching, but they can't watch 5 million of us.
AND -------------------- what federal agency do you work for ??.
I still own more guns than most people.
Sorry Pat... Those are 16" 45 caliber Naval Rifles. A gun is smoothbore.

Hmmm…I guess 5”-54s weren’t guns? That’s what we called them in Gunnery School and aboard my ship. But, then again, I was a GMM2 and only helped out on the guns on occasion. We kept our rifles in the Armory.

Wut? No bottle rocket pistol?
Sometimes a few of them on similar topics reply as if somebody is Forcing them to answer, or somehow reply…….. Who is clicking the computer mouse?
I don't get it either... If they don't want to share, simply do not participate. I don't see the point in posting just to let everyone else know that you aren't going to participate in the thread.
Prob between 40 and 60... I have not counted.
As I gotten older, I am more interested in steel framed and higher quality gun vs Glocks, micro 9mm, and all the other less expensive and polymer stuff. The number of guns I own will probably drop drastically as I sell multiple polymer snd budget guns to help fund one $1000-$2000 pistol. I went from carrying and only being interested in small, light, carry sized polymer pistols to prefering to carry bigger 30oz +/- pistols.
7 semiauto pistols
