Not enough!

What's the problem with availability? I have seven .243 Winchester rounds alive and well, and 86 .223 Remington rounds remaining. I need primers and bullets and powder to replenish my target shooting supplies. I plan to shoot at least forty .223 rounds this weekend. I plan to shoot no .243 Winchester rounds for awhile. I'm totally out of quality .22 Long Rifles! WHAT GIVES? cliffy

What is with all of these Threads that ask about how many...
I don't wear a tinfoil hat but I still would not answer these questions. Its almost like telling everyone that you meet that you conceal carry (kinda defeats the purpose of Conceal carry

I think glockman was endorsed by BATFE to have this poll here so they can pick folks to be included in their list for "routine" house check.

It's paranoia like that that is driving the massive ammunition buying and hording. And I really don't see how it's justified....

One of my good friends has more ammo in just 7.62x45 (not a typo), or 8x33 Kurz than apparently a third of the poll respondents have in all calibers put together. :)

I myself don't have nearly enough, but I'm sure not looking to buy more at today's prices...

Ian, I'd sure like to find a friend like that. Not for the volume of ammo, but for the rarity of the firearms. The CZ52 (rifle) is not all that uncommon, but the StG 44 dang sure is, I'd love the opportunity to fire off a mag one of these days.

Not sure, but I have quite a bit. If I were to guess, I'd say I had 1,000+ pretty easily, but I know I don't have 2,000+.

I've easily got hundreds of rounds of .22lr. Cartridges that I reload like .38spl, .270, .357 mag, are in good supply too. I have a hundred or so of 9mm and about the same in .45acp.

My dad bought me a .45acp die set for my birthday. I never thought that I would want to reload that round, but with the current environment, this makes sense now.

"Who REALLY gives a rats behind"

Well what do you want to talk about Mr. Party Pooper?

Meanwhile, I think I have about 1200 rounds of 28 ga. That's the only one I know offhand.

John

2500+, but missing ammo for several guns. 10ga, 7.62x54, .45-70, .45 colt and a few others that I can't think of.

Probably around 2500 rounds, excluding rimfire (around 3K?).

Figure 1500 or more loaded in magazines.

Now, you figure I have four different calibers to feed. I have no 7.62x39, other what's in my mags. So I've got 1000 rounds left of .223, 9mm, and .45. Not 1000 each, a thousand total.

Oh how I miss the days of driving to walmart and buying a case of ammo.
