I've got plenty of ammo...and plenty of components...but I've hardly been shooting at all lately. It might be just not wanting to burn up supplies due to uncertainty about re-supply...but I've not been to the range in months and have no plans to go in the near future.

How much do you shoot now compared to last year?

more... got big career hurdles out of the way... now getting back into competition shooting... steel challenge next month :)

Much less. And it's obvious that the other range members shoot less too.

Haven't been in weeks. May go Monday and shoot my last 100 rds of practice ammo. After that I will wait for ammo to become more readily available. If it takes 6 months - so be it. I just have more to do in life than try to run to every WalMart and LGS in the area looking for 9mm that is never in stock.

I'll shoot about the same as last year. I have been been stocking up on components for the last couple of years so I'm good to go until this craziness is over.

I hear ya. Since fishing season has started I guess I have other things to keep me occupied too.

The same. When I go by Walmart I do swing buy the ammo case, or as I call it these days, "Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard" just to see if there's any .22 to snag for trade bait.

I have been shooting...some...but not much. When I've been, I'll shoot a hundred .22 and maybe 25 of .38 and .357. I may add 25 of .45acp.

If I go to the club I'll shoot rifle at 200 yds. However, I don't try to do more than 25 rounds of any single gun. I take four guns any trip to that range because its the only time I can shoot a little extra distance.

This is not much change from last year. I'm not a high volume shooter.

The wife and I go twice a month and put about 600 rounds down range each time. The range is always packed and reservations on weekends are a must. I roll my own so ammo is not a problem yet,,,,,but by fall I might start hurting.

Finished the last of my reloading about a week ago (last year's shooting) and now just waiting for temps to get above 55 and have things dry out. I expect I'll get to the range about 4 out of 5 weekdays this season; same as last year ... at least that's my plan. I have some rifles and pistols I haven't shot for a couple of years and it's time they get a workout!

Compared to last year? NONE! I, like gspn, am worried about being able to resupply/availability, so the only times I shoot, I put a bird down, or meat on the table. And I've been doing that with black powder.

The weather doesn't always cooperate this time of year, but I try to get out once every other week.

Usually once a week weather permitting. About the same as last year. Roll my own ans have built up supply's over the past. Not hurting for supply's and will ot buy from any scalper.

I'm definitely shooting more than I did a year ago. Got into USPSA and Steel last summer and it has got me addicted. I figured the lack of ammo would have thinned out the crowds at matches, but there still seems to be a good amount of people coming out to shoot.

I almost never shoot. But that is not knew. I am just not a big shooter. Other sighting in my deer rifle and shooting deer and hogs, I hardly ever shoot centerfire. I can get thru an entire year on less than 200 rounds. I will go out a couple of times a year and shoot some pistols. But thats about it. Except for rimfire of course. I shoot several hundred 22lr a year. I also have not shot a shotgun in several years.

I probably have not shot 75% of the guns I own and have no intention of shooting half of the other 25% ever again.

Almost none, due to component shortages. fishing will occupy my time for the next couple months.

Having planned ahead with lots of ammo for the worst possibilities of '08 and '12 election results, and the easily-anticipated bad political reactions to massacres, there is just one problem.

The weather has been too cloudy or drizzly on most days off lately.
In terms of comfort, it's a fairly short shooting season outside. By the time September weather is here, ammo should be a good bit cheaper for those who need it.

Ive been shooting MORE this year than other years. I got an AR in Nov, been to three Appleseeds since November ( shot Expert/Rifleman 5 times), I am finally getting my AKs cerakoted,

Reloading has kept me going. I ordered a huge stockpile in '08, and have burned about half way through it.
