I bought some spray finish from Brownells. You are supposed to bake it at 350 degrees after application. Is this too hot for the spring steel in a pistol slide?

350F will not be a problem for steel springs.350 is about the minimum tempering temperature for steel so no harm will be done.

Thanks for the info. I thought I remembered that tempering started at about 400 or so, but I would hate to screw up something.
