How near did i get?????

Let me put in my $.02 worth. I live in SE AR so you came within 150 mi or so of me. However, I have a son who just moved to Harrisburg, PA area and we will be visiting near there in late August as he is getting married then! Small world!

How's the shooting opportunities in that area when I visit? AND should I plan a winter visit and deer hunt?!!

Critter ..... shooting pretty good ... some formal ranges around but even better is knowin someone with a spread!

Hunting .. that's good ..... a hunting visit would probably prove good for you (early Dec usually Buck begins) ...... mind you, good Huntin too in WV.

If you drove to Harrsburg and used Route 70 and Turnpike you'd only pass me by about 13 miles ........... so, if you felt like droppin by .... you'd be welcome. Only have to tell me when etc. With enough time a quick 8 miles to range would provide a quick bit of R&R!!
 
Looks like you drove right through Columbus (where I live now) and through the Akron area (where I live when I'm not in school).

Next time mention the trip first, I have keys to the university range :D
 
Looks like you came pretty close to me. Heck, we spent the whole weekend at the range!

And have cold ones in the cooler, next to the pool!!

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind. The 'wedding trip' time is FULL UP, but I'm looking forward to trying to shoot and hunt in new territory in the future seasons.

The Forest City area was not what I was thinking. I actually hail from Jonesboro. No offense to anyone, but just to let Mr. Carry know, you were in one of the poorest regions of the State. I really doubt anyone had stayed in that motel for a while.
 
Almost Amarillo Gristle (hard to see on my ultra crude map!)..... in fact Childress just to South......... we used R287 most of the way up and stopped over there. Carried on North outa Amarillo .. so just ''passin thru'' really, and on to Dumas to pick up R87 into NM ... where after a short stop at Raton we hit I25 to get up to Pueblo.

Would like to have stopped and explored .... one of the prob's with the schedule I'd set - never quite enough time!!:)
 
South of Lebanon, have my own private 200 yard range, if it rains or is cold, you can shoot from inside the house. :D
