There's been a consistent question in the firearms world of how one finds a competent instructor. One who knows his or her fundamentals, has the skills and is not some self-proclaimed 'warrior'. There are well known quality folks around, a list for some other time.
We see too many whose quals are some years in the service or law - and that's it.

If I were looking for an instructor beyond the simple one day class to get a CCW permit, I would want credentials like this or of a similar level.
