How to protect my beautiful blue guns in PNW?

I just got a set of orders to a ship in Everett, WA, and I should be getting there sometime late next July.
Soooo,
I have a few (very) nice blued handguns and shotguns that I carry whenever I'm in VA, NY, or WV. What I want to know is, how do I go about protecting these beautiful blued finishes in the Pacific NorthWet?
 
The SFC is onto something. Shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 days to make the drive and ship your goods; if you prefer you can call ahead to an FFL and ship them there, or just unload, case, and place in your own trunk. If you do the latter, the "peaceable journey" law should apply through every state you go through. Just give them a good thorough cleaning and leave a light to medium coat of oil on them to preserve the finish.
 
A wipe down with clp once a month should do fine. If you have a gun safe, a 'golden rod' or 'bullfrog anti-rusting' products well help. If your going to be at sea for a longer period of time, silicon treated gun sock helps. I lived in that area for almost twenty years and didn't have any rusting problems with my firearms.
 
Nothing special really needed in the "EverWet" state. If you have had success with you gun lubes in Va, Ny, or Wv. stick with them. I use Break-Free on guns I am not going to use for a while or in the rain, but use LPS #1 on carry guns that I wipe down daily. It is grease-less (doesn’t attract dust or dirt) and doesn’t stain clothing. Let us know when you get here and we will turn you on to shooting up here. Oh by the way if anything you own is an NFA firearm you better find another place to keep it as they are not welcome in Washington.
 
I live in South Carolina. 85% humidity is considered "dry".

This may be old school, but I had a problem with surface rust that I cured with RIG. It is Rust Inhibiting Grease. A very,very light coating (as in rub on and rub off) has kept me rust free for 28 years.

agreed.I was stationed at NAS Whidbey for 2 years, and have now lived in OR 3 years, and I have had NO gun rust issues at all just using Mobile 1 or Remoil the whole time.Havent had any issues with tools rusting here either, whereas in VA, they would start to rust QUICK. I wouldt worry about rust here anymore than most other places, and less than some I've been to like FL and VA.
 
Despite the amount of rain in the winter, the overall humidity levels in the PNW are amazingly low. You won't encounter the same types of humid days that you did back East. In fact, VA, NY, and WV all have much more humidity than WA. Whatever you've been doing to protect the guns in those areas ill work just fine in WA.
 
Best of all, Kitsap has a really decent rifle and pistol club just up the road from Bremerton. If you shoot them and clean them once in a while, they should stay healthy.
