how to sight rifle 2inch hi @ 100yds question?

how to sight rifle 2inch hi @ 100yds question?
i just test fired my 243. it shoots dead on at 100yds.

my question is: to have the bullet hit 2 inches high at 100yds do i adjust the scope clicks up or down? i was assuming down but am fairly new ( my buddy usually helps me but he is away for a while)

i believe on most scopes.....1 click is 1/4" at 100 yards........so if you want to hit 2" high.....simply give it 8 clicks up.
