Howa 1500 6.5x55 anybody got one?

I've been thinking about trying to find one of these for some time now.Appears Howa is no longer offering this chambering (6.5x55) and I read someplace it was dropped because of accuracy problems in the model 1500
Can anybody who has or had one tell me if it had decent accuracy?
 
That's what I was wondering about.Someone who had actual experience with one.I don't insist on 1 inch groups but I sure ain't happy with a rifle that shoots 3 or 4 inch groups either.

That's about the best this particular Howa would do I could shoot better groups with my other 6.5x55 a Swedish semiauto AG42 , Now I've had other howas that were pretty good shooters
 
THANKS for this thread. I,too, was looking for a Howa in 6.5, but could not find one. I was "told" that there was an accuracy problem, and am grateful for some real world experience.

I very much wish Savage would bring out a 6.5x55 in there Stevens line. I would probablly buy two or three. I have 3 Swedish Mausers that are just to nice to chop up. Old 112
