    If I didn't already own a nice rifle in 243 Win I would be very tempted.

    6 creedmoor.... AKA .243alreadyobsolete. Is it available in better cals?

    Seems like 6mmC is the only caliber on sale at the price. There were far more options when Brownell put Howa barreled actions on sale 3 yrs ago. I put together a 308 heavy barrel and a 7.62x39 Min at the time.

    Make for the start of a nice deer/varmint rifle, to bad I'm broke.

    I’ll be spending more than that at 0600 tomorrow on a day trip hunting rocks with the wife and kids.

    That is the start of a very budget friendly build for any number of things.

    One of these barreled actions + $25 transfer + $75 at the smith, $400 for an Oryx chassis + hacksaw + a Saturday afternoon = about $750 to get into what could be a fantastic long range shooting and hunting specialty pistol. Very, very tempting.

    That is very tempting. I was looking at them before I ran across this thread. Would be great to get one as a project. I'm almost tapped though
