I have an e-mail in to the Hunting Shack of Stevensville, Montana. Pending their answer, does anyone know the source or headstamp on their new 6mmPPC and 6mmBR loaded cartridges ?

I ask because the 6mm target ammo appears new and the boxes of .223 I have are of various flavors of remanufactured WW, LC and RP. In one box of new .223 ammo are a few cases head stamped HSM. I think we scrambled and mixed the ammo at the range. Is there a brass source unique to or operated by HSM ? Or is it another manufacturer stamping their brass for them ? Thanks.

I would hazard to guess that only The Hunting Shack (HSM) could answer that.

What I DO know is that their plated 125 gr HP bullets (not loaded ammo)
work wonderfully in my S&W 10-5.

yeah, because their loaded ammo is not much more than the cost of Lapua Brass.

I'm going to bet it's Starline.
