Anyone know about this knife? I'm fairly new to knifes and blades. I can see where the addiction is though.

    I have a Protech/Emerson CQC-7 automatic (154 CM), a SOG Vulcan (VG10) and a Zero Tolerance 0700 (S30V) black blade tanto tactical knife.

I ran across this HTM Gunhammer, made with CTS-XHP steel, for $190.00.

Looks like a very high quality knife made from "super steel".

Anyone have this knife? Whats your opinion about purchasing? Does $190.00 seem about right?

    Thanks for your input.

Your thread prompted me to research this knife, Darrel Ralph's web site is pretty impressive ranging from very "pretty" knives to hardcore tools.
Price point seems right although I did not see a build with the steel you mentioned.
If I were in the market for a good folder I'd buy this knife and may still yet, although the AXD (by Darrel) used by Jason Statham in The Expendables would be on my list too.....

I'm very familiar with the HTM knives and own a couple as well as Darrel's customs.

    Absolutely great knives.

The Gunhammers are very nice. Veery glad they make a non-assisted model now, great flippers.
