LSUfan: The culprit, of course, are his PARENTS. Blaming music, movies, religion (or lack thereof) is a cop-out. The parents failed in a major way. That cartoon is propaganda, plain and simple.
I don't have a "humorous" picture to post, so my contribution to this thread is worthless, but as an agnostic who listens to "violent" music and watches "violent" movies, let me say that I'd only ever want to shoot another human being with my camera.
(as an aside, the "Unconstitutional" pic is awesome. It's my wallpaper, starting now.)

Ditto on the wallpaper. I change mine often, but that picture deserves a few weeks (and probably will be posted in my cubicle at work)

Yes, I pretty much fit that kid in the cartoon to a T when I was 13 or 14. (I mean, except that my eyes had pupils.) Obsessed with violent video games and violent comics (especially Spawn,) loved Marilyn Manson and Eminem, and certainly didn't have any real religious beliefs. But none of that meant that I had bad discipline, bad role models or bad parents. I think I was basically the same as most other boys my age.
