I bought a cheap shotgun

I really needed a cheap short barrel shotgun to ride in my sxs four wheeler and to stay up high in my closet. I went my LGS yesterday and they had just got several Escort slugger 12ga in and it fit the bill. Haven’t shot it yet but everything looks great and it is just what I was looking for. Anyone have any experience with them?

I am because target ranges in PA are closed, and I have no access to a private or public shooting range. It sucks.

Never seen them before. The Escort looks nice and has nice goodies OOB. And the price is right. Made in Turkey; they make good firearms over there. Should be fine. Look forward to pics and range report.

I still haven’t shot it but I’m impressed with how well it’s built. I have other shotguns just not short barreled and I sure wouldn’t want them bouncing around in the 4 wheeler. I think I’m going to like this shotgun.

Inexpensive yes, but cheap no. There are/were cheap guns made over the years
that have not stood the test of time. How this gun holds up over usage is the
true test, weather it is a cheap gun or not.

Disassemble and clean first. It will save you a lot of headache.

I’m old and not that great at posting pics. The more I fool with it the more I’m convinced it’s as good or better than than the other low priced shotguns that I checked out. I’m happy!
