YAY. Another DIY gun tester willing to take the HiPoint plunge.

444,

50 to 100 handguns!!!! Dang, I don't know that I've ever owned 50 to 100 of anything of substance at the same time. What's it like trying to decide what to carry to the range on any given day?

I can count all the firearms I own on my fingers and toes - and sometimes I feel the guilt of "conspicuous consumption". I need to re-think all of this. Lifes too short. I need to treat myself to more toys.

I would love to see a "Stephen A. Camp" style range report on it. It would be kinda like a Road & Track review of a chevette. Don't really expect a whole lot but a surprise here and there would be nice one way or the other.

I will do my best, but I am not promising much. Function and accuracy. I will make an attempt to try some different factory ammos and some self defense loads if I can find them. I haven't shot a factory loaded .45 ACP round in 15 years. As I mentioned, my dealer said the gun would be in on Monday. I will be at the Frontsight practial rifle course on Monday. Tuesday I have to go back to the salt mines. So, I may get it on Wednesday. I might get around to shooting it on Friday. So we are looking at least a week. I know you guys are holding your breath in anticipation. This will give you time to scour the neighborhood for empty Coke bottles to turn in for the money to buy one. Wait, they don't do that anymore, maybe get a paper route.

S&W 686 for Hi-Point

Regarding the fellow who traded two S&W's, including a 686 PLUS cash for a Hi-Point? By any chance, was it Peter Arnett?
