I have an old Riverside Arms 12ga single shot shotgun but it has no model number or other markings that I can identify what it is. I need a new bbl and I know that Riverside Arms is also part of Savage or Stevens so I figured that if I could cross reference it with a Savage or Stevens, parts might be easier to find.

Does anyone know what Savage or Stevens shotguns will fit this Riverside Arms gun? It is a typical 12ga single shot with exposed hammer and non-automatic ejector. It is a take down version if that helps. On the left side of the reciever is written "Riverside Arms Co. Chicopee Falls Mass." The bbl says "CHOKE BORED". Under the forarm on the bbl and forarm is "TN 234". I don't know if that is a SN or maybe a model number.

I need a bbl and maybe a forearm if possible. Please let me know if you can help. This is a cheap gun so I just want to get it working again, not up to collecting standards or anything. Thanks.

What I really want to know is, what Savage or Steven's shotgun is the same gun. I have been told a Stevens 94, is that true.

The Stevens 94 sounds correct. Riverside is a tradename Used by J Stevens on sngle & dble bbl shotguns.

You should be able go get parts from Numerich arms, they are on the net. Tell them the same you have presented here, they will advise as to which 94 is the one Stevens made.
