As many of you know I have a thing for the German single stack 9mms. P5, P6, P7 etc.

Well I walked into a local gun store and they had a P5C in the case on consignment. Apparently another dealer was dumping his stuff here. The story goes he bought the gun many years back and never fired it. It was missing a box and a magazine but looked to be in pretty good condition.

Well to my surprise it still had packing grease on it and looked to have indeed never been fired. No wear marks whatsoever, no crap in the barrel etc. Well I am kind of excited at this point and then I see the price....

    $519 :what:

A NICS check later and I have a P5C to go with my P5 full size and I got it for basically half price. I never get deals like this.

Anyway I just had to tell somebody that I got a $1000 pistol for the price of a Glock:barf: Just kidding Glock O Philes. Anyway I am on gun buyers cloud nine.

You Bastidge! I payed $650 for a used P5. The P5C is on my list of must haves. I still need the third of my German police guns, too, the P7. I already have the P5 and P6(Sig 225).

This shop rarely has any deals. I really don't think they knew what they had. I am thinking that maybe they thought they just had a regular P5 or something.

Yes it has made my week.
