With the pistol course I'll be taking this weekend, I really don't know why I had to justify to my wife about going to the range today but, it felt good to get out. I laid in bed this morning trying to decide what to take with me since it is a 50 mile drive round trip to and from the range. I didn't want to take just one thing, pop off a few rounds and head home. I thought about taking my G26 (my carry gun) to shoot it a little bit but since I'll be putting 1000 rounds through it this up and comming weekend at Tac Pro Shooting Center, I deceided to let a few others have the lime light. Don't get me wrong, I didn't leave it at home 
. I did take my Sar-1 with the last 60 rounds that I had lying around, My 870 Home Defense, my Kimber Custom II and my brand new never fired S&W 520 .357. I put 60 rounds through the Sar, 25 rounds through the 870 and 100 rounds each through the Kimber and S&W. Over all it was a great day. There was a gentleman out there with his two son's dialing in the scope on a .22 henry lever action. You shound have seen the look in their eyes when they saw my 870 and Sar-1. They are slightly modified 
. I can post pics them if you want . Any way it was nice to set some time aside. Well, it's time to get to the daycare and get my daughter.
