an ambulance coming down the road behind me with lights blazing forced me to turn into the cash America parking lot. So I ambled into the pawn shop ears still ringing. I spotted a canik c100 in rough shape finish wise. Looked like it had slid around scuffing the corners of the finish and it had a bit of rust. Not deep just ugly on the hammer. They wanted 179 for it. I put down 20 on it and will pick it up over the next month. I have always wanted a cz75 or it’s cousin. I’m going to buy it. Swap in parts from Cajun gun works. Until it runs like a dream. Leave thefinish busted and carry it hard.

I like your accidents Blkhrt13. I've had to avoid gun shop lately. Saving up for that new 3" hammered Kimber K6 that should be coming out soon. Sweet pistol.

Well I’m trying to behave and not buy more guns. So far since I’ve been on this mission I’ve done good. I only bought one 12 gauge single shot. But I’ve bought two knives and a bow. So there is that. I’ve always wanted a cz 75 pattern gun and the price is hard to beat.

Which blades did you get?

Dude my HP clone came to me that way. Looked rough, ran pretty okay. I took out the mag disconnect, mresprung it and changed grips. My current plan is to shoot the everlovin’ f€¥* out of it.

Kershaw hot wire and a victrinox tinker

Decent blades.

I got into blades bad, trying to get away from gun prices at the time. I couldn't keep justifying spending so much so I thought blades would be cheaper. Let me tell you I just bought a Microtech Combat Troodon that costs as much as a gun! It started slow, and cheaper, then rapidly accelerated.

So now I'm backing off of both a bit.

My kind a gun hacker. :D

I want a good carry piece and I prefer something smaller than my full size beretta. But not micro. It seemed to make since. As a machinist with twenty years I’m not scared to swap parts and tinker. So I think it best to start on a worker and invest in improvements than to buy a brand new gun to beat and abuse.

I’ve loved blades since I was a kid. Most of mine are just good working tools.

I used to have more that were fun looking but useless. I still have a lot of them. But since growing up it’s much more mundane. I do have about 20 or so old timers and uncle Henry’s I bought when schrade folded. I gobbled up all the Americans I could find. I don’t use most of them they are for the kids and myself later. I have a few bucks that are collectors items and a few cases. I have a bunch of loose ones for use as beaters and loaners.

Sounds like my own guilty confession, but I turn 69 tomorrow and it makes sense to stop collecting guns. Got a NAA RangerII today, just because I like the way it looks.
