I will have to make the trip- about an hour away I found a .22 Crossman Mk 1 pistola and a RWS model 45 rifle in .177 ... I am sick I think- I have a FWB 300 to fix and a FWB 601 that I need to reseal- I have the parts for them and I need to reseal a couple air ams prosport n tx200's ... then there is a lil cz 618? I think that needs help... and I still need to get one of the 1377's together... Could be worse I guess- retirement projects someday or auction fodder for the relatives :p

If these are as nice in person as the picts and dont need crazy work I Got a deal... both for less than the pistol would likely get on fleabay .... the mk1 was cheap enough that I could try my hand at making a quasi LD out of her. Took me a while to figure out which diana this is. The best I could come up with is the model 45... an early one with the throughbolt above the trigger guard. An earlier version of the model 34... I have been looking for a cheap diana 34... still want one in .22.... its gonna cost just about as much in gas to go get em as the crossman cost me :p

Airguns rate right up there with muzzleloaders for the fun factor....BUT. MUCH easier to maintain.
Congrats.
I like.

So true- I have way too many airguns ... I love for the older and newer ones :p I love the German airguns- the vintage springers n the target rifles n pistols... And Muzzle loaders... I have problems with those also- and I really wanna get a Kibler Southern mountain rifle kit this year... and I wanna start making my own black powder and my own willow charcoal to use in it....but I see and find too many distractions :p the airguns are nice because I can shoot them in the basement or the backyard... firearms- not so much

There's another thread about a go-anywhere north America rifle....I immediately thought air rifle or flintlock rifle....but that wasn't what they were wanting so I kept it to myself.

FYI
My rifle building friend says the Kibler rifles are super-easy. I'm talking for a real novice.
He says they're top notch too.

I am only about 45 minutes or so from him... I was blessed to have been able to attend an open house he hosted last year. Talk about nice folk and a superb facility and attention to detail! And some guys brought finished kits.. the balance and design were real nice also!

I'm thinking of a smoothbore from him....not sure if he is doing them. I'd love to take a turkey with a smoothbore flinter.
I heard him talk of a fowler/trade style smoothbore being one he plans on getting to. not sure when- he just came out with his latest I believe- the woodsrunner
...

Yes
I have looked at the woodsrunner.
That is the one my buddy built.
I'm going to see him Saturday when I host my annual BP shoot and dinner...
Forgive me for drifting your thread.
