Look at the other things in the thread about how he'd posted about the nutjob next door... Industrial area, and the guy was living in a trailer/rv/pickup that he had in the next unit...

    Let's be careful out there.

Makes you think. I'm sure we've all dealt with folks whose views of reality are a bit off kilter. Something like this gives the antis more ammo on defining mental illness and what should go in your NICS file. Too bad this Matt G fella didn't pay attention to the handwriting on the wall. He even joked about the potential danger of this nutcase a few times in those threads.

And how did the police NOT see the hole in the wall that the guy shot from? Was it only a 4x4 hole on the shooter's side?

The police had been involved, etc., etc., but it seems like folks are so concerned with "rights of nutjobs to be nutjobs" that they ignore the rights of nonnutjobs.

Guys, next time you get cut off in traffic, whatever, just smile and wave, using ALL fingers... Because they're out there, and they know that they're not gonna get pulled in by the cops...

    bogie,

Have you contacted Larimer County SO and directed them to these threads? Someone ought'a. The news articles all said it started over snow removal, but the links you provided to Mat G's complaints on that other board date back at least to August of last year. Now, I haven't lived in Colorado in about 30 years, but I don't remember there being too much snow in August.

It sure is spooky reading Mat G's complaints on that forum, knowing that nutjob killed him over snow and stereo speakers.

    hmmmm....

I once knew a Matthew or maybe it was just Matt who manufactured speakers and studio equipment, particularly digital audio studio racks and studio gear furniture like desks (designed for your mixer, etc) who was based out of Wyoming.

Actually, it's more like I had an argument via the internet with the guy.... I think we were arguing acoustic designs or something.... that was at least 5 years ago.

I wonder if it was the same guy. The guy I'm thinking of did/does a lot of work for Cox Communications. I highly doubt it, but then again it's a small world... you never know.

    My condolences Bogie. :(
