Modern guns are pretty easy, but I have not kept up with the C&R market. Now I'm not selling any of these but of someone could give me a ball park figure for my Insurance guy, I sure wood appreciate it! Yugoslavian M48A, 24/47, and Turkish 8MM, I don't know the model. Thanks for IMG_0229.JPG IMG_1217.JPG any help!

I can see both @NIGHTLORD40K and @Mars5l positions.

I would shop at nightlord40k's prices, but I would insure at Mars51's, because you never know what the replacement cost will wind up being. The milsurp market is very complicated in that the supply is continually decreasing which drives up prices over time.

The 1943 SC 1903A3 I picked up in 1990 for $400 would be around $1400--1600 to replace today, especially in like-to-like condition. I tend to update my Eastern gun collection policy about twice a year as a result.

Thanks for all your advice. There was a Gun Show today not too far away and most of your suggestions were spot on. The M48a and 24/47 were not in as good condition as mine but had $550.00 asking price on them. The Turkish ones $400.00. So I'll up my value by 20%. Interesting to you C&R guy's, everything has gone up at least in this area a lot. Bulgarian Makarov's $550.00, poor finish, one magazine, CZ 82's, Good Condition $700.00! NVA SKS bring back with papers $12,000.00. Run of the mill SKS's $800.00. M-1 Garand's, nothing to write home about were $1200.00. Everything else was HIGH, although I admit I have not been to a show in years. A lot of people looking but I didn't see much buying going on. Interestingly, vendors with new guns were set up to do background checks on the spot and took credit cards.
