I Need Your Help

I'm writing an Argumentative Paper for my summer english class.

My topic is going to be why gun control does not work/how it doesn't work.

I would like to avoid getting total BS information from people which is why I'm coming to you guys for help.

Can anyone point me in the right direction towards statistics, facts, etc... on why gun control does not/will not work?

This is a good place to start, but you want to "snowball" your citations. In other words, download the PDF, find the topics you want to hit on and read, then see what gunfacts used as THEIR source.

Often this will be a statement/study from a governmental agency, a scholarly journal/study, or another type of equally legitimate source. Do your best to track the cited source down and use that to quote from, derive statistics from, etc.

This will also allow you to have many legitimate sources to cite, making the research part of your paper look much more impressive. It's essentially letting gunfacts do the research for you without having to even approach the idea of plagiarism.

I'd suggest www.guncite.com everything there is footnoted if I recall correctly should help knowing the sources of the info.

Here is an article on why gun control cannot/will not work. It is titled "Imagine a world without guns" It also cites some gun control policies and outlines how they are not working.

The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker (even though he sounds anti 2A, the examples show why a gun is a necessary tool)

Dial 911 and Die (found at the JFPO site) or Amazon.
