Yes I am still addicted to buying guns, hope there is not a cure. But today while waiting for appointment for wife's doctor we went window shopping. Walked into the Gun/Pawn shop she went one way I went the other, shop owner called out to me then walked into the back of shop. He came out with a very nice 1917 Eddystone in 30-06. Typical for a firearm of that age the wood needs a little TLC but the bore is super nice and everything locks up tight and sound. When other customers are in his store he does not say out loud his price to me but he will write down a CASH price, this time it was $320.00 AND to prove I could live without one I walked away. (but there is always tomorrow.)

Just wonderin'...did you leave bread crumbs? Get back there quick! The birds will eat them! :D

I've been wanting one of those...maybe this summer I'll come across one...maybe.

Yea Jeff there know me, wife was with me and I didn't want her seeing me take this one out soosl The owner will put it aside for me for a few days for me to return. Got home and wife asked why I didn[t get one;; maybe I missed a frbbii

I find the presence of my wife makes it easier to walk away. It's always easier to ask for forgiveness for an impulse buy than to ask for permission.
