Sorry to hear about your loss. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.
May God give you the strength to go on.......for his child will need you.

You will be in my thoughts.
There is nothing I can say that hasn't been said.

Thank you for raising a a hero. My deepest regrets and well wishes to your family.
The Almighty tells us that love is the greatest attribute. For your son to lay down his life in the defense of strangers is love at it's greatest. God so loved the world that He gave up His only begotten Son. Your son is in the presence of the Almighty at this moment and He has wrapped you in His arms for your sacrifice. God bless you and your family and thank God for your brave son.

I am so very sorry to hear about your son. He and your family have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and liberty. There is no greater honor than to give your life for ones' country and way of life.

Deep sympathy and prayers to you and yours. Most of all, Thank You for your son's sacrifice. Without men and women like Elijah, our country wouldn't be what it is.

Please know that your beloved son will forever be considered a great American HERO by my family and millions of other families across the nation.
In the days after Pearl Harbor, my father who was a temporary postal worker at the time, stamped innumerable letters to deceased GIs, sailors and Marines stationed at Pearl Harbor, "undeliverable".

This is a real war, and real people die. Unfortunately, neither the present nor the previous administration has chosen to treat it like one.

There's no difference between a soldier who dies in Afghanistan and one who died on Okinawa. In both cases, the other side had similar plans for us. The only choice is whether we call that enemy an enemy and get them by the neck and choke the life out of them or not.

There's nothing that can be said to bring back the dead. All you can do is remember them with the respect that is their due.
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. I thank him and you for his sacrifice to maintain the freedoms and ideals of our great country. While nothing we write or say to you can reduce your suffering at this tragic loss please know that we share your grief. God Bless you and the United States of America.

I am at a loss for words. This post has me very upset for you and your family. Thank you for sharing. If there is a schooling/donation fund in your son's honor, please post it or PM. Your daughter in law should know that we are praying for her and your grandchild.
My deepest sympathies with you my friend. I've never lost family in war, however, i've been there first hand and lost men under my command who were like family. It is a terrible tragedy. Take solace in knowing he died a hero - defending his nation.

My prayers are with your family.
You have my families deepest sympathy for your loss. Your son is no doubt in God's loving hands. Words are hollow at times like these but it is true that every real and caring American hurts each time one of our boys and girls are lost. Our thoughts remain with all those who serve, military, law enforcement, fire, and EMS.
People like your son make it possible for the rest of us to live in peace and freedom. My thoughts and prayers are with your family right now. God bless.
I wish I could say something that wasn't been said but I can't besides I'm sorry for your loss. My son is in Iraq for the third time and I have have been afraid of this happening every day.
So sorry for your loss. I pray that all the efforts and sacrifices our men and women are doing over there will not be for naught.

Be proud in your son's achievements and the great sacrifice he did for you and his country. He is a hero. May he rest now in God's world and forever watch over you and your family.
Prayers for you and yours

My Deepest Regards and Prayers for you and your family during this day and the days to come. May the Peace of Christ fill your hearts and guide you during these days.
The pain of losing a son in combat is beyond my imagining. With a heavy heart, I can offer only gratitude to you for having raised such a fine man, and gratitude to him for having placed himself between destruction and those whom he loved.

I wish that my words to you could make a difference; they can't, really. Elijah made a difference, and we will remember him.
