I was browsing the BUL Transmark site, and stumbled across some pics of custom race guns and 1911 clones...Some look like nice guns...but the COLORS!!!
WE had one of the CD Hot Pink ones with a S-S slide at the shop, someone broke in and stole it the other night and it's color got him caught within a day. The boss might have given it to him to get rid of it as it stayed there for months on end. He took it in on trade.
There is a Gay gun rights group out there, the name of which escapes me at the present moment, who are our greatest allies in that ofttimes liberal, socialist, and anti-gun community!!
The fact that a gun company of any size is starting to cater to Gays is a good thing!! It means that group, who's name I still can't remember, is starting to have an effect!!!
I actually like the stars and stripes model. The other one looks like one of those toys you get with those little boxes of Japanese candy. My Kimber on Bul frame was my first handgun. Shoots great.
But, hey, guys! How could anything with those colors be considered "threatening"? They'd be just the thing for soccer moms and those in California and suchlike places who don't want to scare anybody with an evil black gun!
If Glocks and the AK stuff had been painted up like that, we wouldn't have an Assault Weapons ban, and we wouldn't have had all that yammer about undetectable handguns going through airport security!
Heck, they're just going another step forward with the "LadySmith" concept...
