I had a chance at a 1086 about 20 years ago and passed.. been kicking myself ever since.

I had an early Model 469 and then a 3rd. Generation Model 6906. While the Model 469 was decently sized as a compact 9mm. the later Model 6906 had some needed improvements with the trigger, sights, and better ergonomics with the grips.

My favorite of the 3rd Gen Smiths, too, for sure (although I have a sentimental attachment to the 5906, once carried for the job, and the 4506, just 'cus it's a .45) ... Picked up a used 915 not long ago, not a bad little pistola, eithe.
