I think this sums up the anti point of view quite nicely.

Was doing a google image search for something and came across this image. I don't know who created it or or why they did, but I think it sums up anti-gun people's mentality quite nicely.

You must have seen "Finding Nemo" to get it. *

* - I will try to sum it up. Seagulls in "Finding Nemo" are portrayed as not too bright. They just repeat "Mine? Mine? Mine? Mine?" over and over again in an annoying birdy voice. There are many scenes in "Nemo" where you hear 20-30 seagull voices repeating that over and over again, with no rythm whatsover, sounding just like a flock of birds. A few times a chorus of seagulls are set off by just one of them saying "Mine?", and all the others join in.

I always thought that it was best summed up in "A Night's Tale"

When the squire (who does become a Night) is trying to convince his friends to invest the money that they just won in training, but they want to go to the pub for food and drinks, he says, “we can split a prize bigger than this, we can be champions …13 silver florens…three men can change their stars” Then one of his friends says, (here comes the leftist partyline slogan) “champions, changing stars are dreams that we cant believe in… but a full belly, now there’s a dream that everyone can believe in.”

Warning: The above post was to the best of my recollection.
