I started thinking about what features or parts I like on different guns and I wondered what they would look like put together. For example this one I did is a Taurus 24/7 Pro frame with the Beretta PX4 slide.

I did this in Microsoft paint so don't be to harsh on the quality of the photoshop :p

I know others out there are waaaaay better at this sort of thing so lets see what you got. Figure out which parts you like from different pistols and put them together. It doesnt have to be just a frame-slide combo, be creative. See if you can put together something with different frame, gips, slide, trigger, trigger gaurd, hammer, no hammer ect.ect.ect. It will be interesting to see if making a mut gun so to speak can look better then its original.

Let the fun begin :D

Oh and don't forget to let us know what parts are what.

I think you did a nice job, especially if you only used Microsoft Paint. I actually kind of like it, and think it's funny considering the two companies' past.

P.S. - Great thread idea, by the way!:D

I certainly like the looks of it better than either of the existing two. Not bad!

Ya I noticed the 2 safeties after I did the post. I tried to go back and get rid of the safety on the slide but it looked funny with all that open black space

Don't matter to me what is on the frame if the safety is on the slide, forget about it!

I started off serious, but that quickly degenerated... heh. Sorry, I'll do a less ridiculous one next.:p

MP5 with double trigger, SAW rear stock, M240 fore end, masterkey, starlight scope.:uhoh:

--edit-- alright, how about an M9 with a glock frame?

what about a SIG229 with a 5" XD slide?

I love the SIG grip and trigger group, but they always felt "top heavy," as if the barrel and slide were too high. I love the XD in that regards.

I might have some more free time at work tonight. Ill see what other frame slide combo's I can come up with. Thats pretty much all I can do with MS paint anyway :D

I really like to see what people who are really good with photoshop come up with.

I like the idea of the Sig/XD but I want mine with an XD slide on the P220 frame.:D.

This isn't really a new idea. Back when the revolver was still king there were many bullseye shooters who would have a gunsmith build them a gun with a S&W barrel on a Colt frame and vice versa. In fact just a few weeks ago I got to see one, Python barrel on a K-frame Smith. Wish I could have shot it. :D

I'll play!!
Since I'm a revolver guy I did 2 special revolvers!! LOL

Here is my Model 36-460 J-Magnum with a 10.5" barrel
