The hang fire (third shot), was quite funny. He shouldn't have taken it off his shoulder so soon. :D

I doubt he's loading a projectile at all. That would have affected his speed.
 
yep. No projectile at all... just the powder drop with the rap to pack it... I do that with the Navy pistol to chase off the elk in the roses...
