A week or so a guy I watch on YouTube the name is preachersdayoff. He opened a cool old pilots survival kit from the 50s or 60s. Inside there were some cool old things and and he decided to give away some stuff.

So I said I'd like to enter to win, I forgot about to keep a look out for the video where he chooses the winners. So tonight I sit down and watch a small live stream he did, luckily I hear him say he posted the video in the morning for the winners.

I was shocked to see I won something, I won the knife from the kit, there was a real cool fold up hatchet but preacher claimed that for his self. I don't blame him

It's a old imperial folding knife, I know it's just a cheap old knife but for about 5 years one off my edc knifes is a old 2 blade imperial. This one looks to have one blade with a can opener an aw and a flat head screwdriver.

So I figured to share my luck, I never seem to win anything lol. I will post the video if you want to watch it, there's some cool stuff in the kit.

I've never seen anything like that survival kit.

That guy's video's one of the better internet things I've seen all month.

I keep waiting to come across a Dr Strangelove SAC survival kit. Buck says: "Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff!"

Todd.

Lol ya it like that kit to. I enjoy his videos there basic but good stuff most times. He does some good cooking to.

I got a laugh when he was describing the knife you won. I'm paraphrasing, but basically he said "It has a leather awl, so you can make more holes to tighten your belt when you're starving in the wilderness."

Looks like a brand new 50's or 60's period Boy Scout knife, cool!
I have to find out, it maybe a kamp-king it should be here next week. I like the old imperial knifes there were good for how cheap they were. This one should be from after they bought schrade.

Nice score. Back in my early days operating water and wastewater systems, I carried a very similar knife. And a pair of slip joint pliers in a belt sheath.

I still have my old Imperial Kamp-King that I got when I was a Cub Scout. Couldn't afford the official Cub Scout knife so I used the Kamp-King which I got by selling magazine subscriptions.

Cool you still have it,to bad they couldn't make them like that today for the price, but there pretty cheap online now. I'll have to see when this one comes, it may not even be marked.be cool if it said us army of usmc in it.

The knife and other stuff came in the mail. The knife has no markings on it other then imperial on the blade. The paper it was in said ,imperial made to stay sharp, I was given one of the old starburst and old canned meat. The preacher gave me one of his gag gifts of possum meat lol. I got the mosquito net to, says France on the under side.

the knife gave me a very fond memory of my grandfather, he had just about the same knife and a big multi tool knife I used to play with before he died. I believe it was the boy scout imperial, don't know with ever happend to it. The other one is the kind with the spoon and fork which I still have.

sorry about the bad photos, the net hat just would not come out. The knife is new still has the oil on it.
