My wifes favorite isa the M134 Mini gun, have pics of her shooting it but cant get pics loaded here??? She wanted a MP5 for the longest time, so i got her a full auto Qualified sear and a MP5 for christmas. She has had a couple pistols, walther P22 and she had RRA custom build her a AR15 carbine couple yrs ago. She likes them all except the ones that kick too much.

I feel left out...can I talk about what my husband likes to shoot or should I just talk about what I like to shoot?

I guess I'll go with what I like to shoot since I'm someone's wife. I like .357 revolvers and Colt revolvers, and I really, really like .357 Colt revolvers.

My wife likes to shoot her Officer's Model .45 ACP, and her Ruger M77VT and Ruger #1 in .243 Win.

She has watched me shoot similar rifles in .30-06 and isn't interested in taking a turn with those, even though they have substantial recoil pads.

This is fine with me. Everybody has a recoil tolerance, and I'm tickled she isn't limited to .22LR, which is kind of light for self-defense or deer hunting... :)

(Now if I could just get her interested in reloading, I wouldn't have to reload all that durn .243 she keeps beating me with!)

My wife doesn't like to shoot anymore. Since we have 4 kids she has gotten more nervous around guns. She lets the boys shoot with me but she doesn't. She however used to like shooting my 870 wingmaster in 28 gauge and a savage model 12 22-250. She was hell on hedge balls with that savage.

My wife likes our old S&W Model 10-5. (I think the shiney nickel finish appeals to her because she likes it better than our Model 67.)

For some reason she doesn't like semi-auto handguns much. Just says she doesn't like the way they feel, whatever that means. I think it's because she is far more familar with revolvers?

Edit: I just asked her, she just said "no", she "doesn't like the feel of a semi-auto when firing them"? ***!!?? Oh well, it's her choice.

Tayen: My wife would probably love a Colt DA revolver, if we HAD ONE!! :(

Her favorite is her Remington 141 pump in .35rem. But she shoots anything we have, and is working hard on mastering her Super Blackhawk, and is waiting for me to finally get that 22/45 so she can steal my stainless 10" bull MKII...

My wife likes to shoot pretty much anything except for the larger magnums. She is pretty partial to my model 19-4 4" with +P .38s.

Anytime my wife come sout shooting with me, it's always the same question: Are you gonna take the 12 ga? (18" barrel, pistol grips). But she'll shoot anything I hand her. I love my wife.

I can't say that my wife really likes guns, but when I brought her to my gun club to learn to shoot, she tried a number of guns and "settled" on a S&W 520 .357 revolver. We haven't gone as far as buying one for her. She really isn't ready to own one yet and may never be.

I'd like her to have one as she and my daughter go on trail rides in the Pikes National Forest by themselves. There isn't even cell reception in many places, let alone someone to help them is things go south quickly.

Used to hate them all. Now likes .38 loads in a .357 (soon to buy a GP161 of her own-fits her hand better than any other she's tried-and the inlay style grips which she wants to make some pink birdseye maples for are pretty:rolleyes:), and shooting my 513T target rifle on the outdoor range.

The perfect wife...

My wife likes her Ruger SP101, Taurus PT111, Taurus PT145, Sig P220, Kahr CW9 (her carr gun), Taurus PT22, Walther PPK/S, KelTec P3AT, Bersa Thunder 380 double stack; not to mention her MAK-90, Marlin 30-30, Remington 870, Remington .22. Oh, I almost forgot her Riot shotgun with collapsible stock. She keeps most of the above in her personal gun safe.

She's seriously on the hunt now for a IMI Baby Eagle.

She gets really annoyed with gun show vendors that make comments like "Say, little lady, this here .32 is just the gun for you...not much kick. So looks at them square in the eye and says, "I prefer the recoil of a .45, thanks." That's my girl!!!

The wife prefers my GP100 to the m&p 9mm she shot at a rental range, but lusts for a Taurus model 94, in her mind, high capacity, it's a revolver(we like them) and it doesn't have any recoil.

Her personal gun is a Sig P250 in 9mm with the medium grip. She prefers a DAO with light trigger pull compared to my full size HK USP V1 in 9mm.

Anything that doesn't have a lot of recoil. However she does have a 20 guage 11-87 loaded with magnum 4's setting behind the door of our bedroom just in case. And if it ever comes down to it she will damn sure use it. Her personal carry gun is a S&W Mod. 60 with +P hollowpoints. Same deal as the shotgun.

By the way, she just extended her NRA membership for 3 more years.

My Wife's Gun

First gun I bought her was a Taurus PT111 Pro. She liked it, but had trouble loading and actioning the slide. Hands were too weak.

The I got her a Taurus Ultra-lite in 38 Special, she loves it and is deadly at the range. The day she took her CWP class was only the second time she shot it and scored 100.

My fiance likes to shoot Glocks in 9mm.

34, 17 and 19. She doesn't care for the 26. Not enough grip for her to have comfortable control of the pistol.

Oddly enough she really doesn't care to shoot my Mark II, although she would like to get a 22 conversion for her Glock 17.

She shoots 22lr out of my AR with a conversion kit and does very well.

My wife likes my Sig, her C.A. .38 SP & P22, and we're taking her new P99QA for a test run this weekend...

Oh, and she adores by evil black rifle. I'd build her one, but nobody has any %@$#% AR kits in stock anywhere.

First Ex:
Grendel .380, Hi-Standard Duramatic, Remington Speedmaster.

Second Ex:
Colt Combat Commander, BHP, K frames, J Frames, Model 29, Beretta Bobcat, Colt Woodsman, Win SX1, Win 101 20 ga, Win 1400 in 20 , Perazzi 4 bbl set ( 28ga bbls favored) ,Citori 3 bbl set (with the 28 ga bbls) , H&R Toppers in .410, 28ga and 20 ga, Model 70 in '06, Model 94 in 30-30, Marlin 60, Rem Nylon 66, Rem 514, H&R 999, Model 18...
basically if the damn thing was a gun, and went bang, she liked it. *sticks tongue out.

Q. Why did I have to get her Ivory earrings and pendant set in Platinum?
A. "Babe, I need earrings and pendant to match my Steel Combat Commander with Ivory Stocks?"

Q. Why did I purchase yet another Steel Combat Commander and secure some Ivory Stocks?
A. "Babe, you can have your gun back once mine comes in. Now hurry up, we have a BBQ to attend"

Damn brunettes with hazels eyes...*wink*
